Managing Weddings
Create weddings, track event details, and view the full party at a glance.
A Wedding in SuitTracker is the top-level record that ties together the couple, their wedding party, event date, and associated orders. Everything flows from the wedding.
Creating a Wedding
- 1 From the sidebar, go to Weddings and click Add Wedding.
- 2 Enter the Wedding Date — this is used throughout the app for countdowns and sorting.
- 3 Enter the Bride and Groom details. First name is required; last name and phone are optional.
- 4 Optionally add wedding party members by role. Click Add [Role] in each section (Groomsmen, Ring Bearers, Fathers, etc.).
- 5 Click Add Wedding to save. You'll be taken to the Wedding Overview.
The Wedding Overview
The Wedding Overview is your command center for a single wedding. From here you can:
- See all party members and their current statuses at a glance
- Edit the couple's information and wedding date
- Click any member to open their full customer profile
- Add new members after the wedding has been created
- See a days-until-wedding countdown
Wedding List & Filters
The main Weddings list shows all weddings sorted by date. You can:
Search
Find weddings by couple name or date using the search bar.
Filter by date
View upcoming, past, or all weddings. Upcoming weddings are shown by default.
Sort
Weddings are sorted by date ascending by default — nearest wedding first.
Editing a Wedding
From the Wedding Overview, click the Edit button (or the pencil icon next to the couple's info) to update:
- • Wedding date
- • Bride and groom names and phone numbers
- • Notes about the event
Deleting a Wedding
Warning: Deleting a wedding removes all wedding memberships associated with it. Customer profiles and orders are not deleted, but they will no longer be linked to the wedding. This action cannot be undone.
To delete, open the Wedding Overview, click the settings/more menu, and choose Delete Wedding.
Tips
Configure wedding roles and default member statuses in Settings → Wedding Settings before creating your first wedding.
You can add members to a wedding at any time — you don't need to know the full party at the time of creation.
