Customer Management

Create and manage customer profiles, search for existing customers, and view order history.

Customers are the people your store works with. Every wedding member, tailoring client, and rental customer is backed by a Customer record. A single customer can appear in multiple weddings and have multiple orders.

Creating a Customer

Customers can be created in several ways:

From the Customers section

Go to Customers → Add Customer. Enter the customer's name, phone, email, and any notes.

During order creation

When creating any order type, you can create a new customer on the spot if they don't exist yet.

When adding to a wedding

Adding a new wedding party member will create a linked customer record automatically.

Via Store Mode

Staff can enter customer information directly in Store Mode on a tablet, which creates or updates the customer record.

Customer Fields

Customer Profile

Each customer has a profile page with tabs for:

Overview

Contact info, linked weddings, and recent activity.

Full measurement record with size fields and fit preferences.

All tailoring, rental, and special orders linked to this customer.

Messages

Searching for Customers

Use the search bar at the top of the Customers section to find customers by name or phone number. The search is instant — results update as you type. You can also search for customers when creating orders.

Merging Duplicate Customers

If duplicate customer records exist (e.g., created twice from different entry points), contact support for assistance with merging records. Always search for an existing customer before creating a new one to avoid duplicates.

Tip: When creating an order, always use the customer search first. Creating a new customer when one already exists is the most common source of duplicates.
