Quick Start
Walk through your first wedding from setup to order creation in under 15 minutes.
This guide walks you through the typical workflow for a new wedding — from first contact to having a customer's measurements recorded and an order placed.
Step 1: Create the Wedding
- 1 From the left sidebar, click Weddings, then click Add Wedding.
- 2 Enter the Wedding Date and the couple's names and phone numbers.
- 3 Optionally pre-add wedding party members (groomsmen, fathers, etc.) by clicking Add [Role] in each section. You can always add more later.
- 4 Click Add Wedding to save. You'll land on the Wedding Overview.
Step 2: Record a Customer's Measurements
When a customer comes in, open their profile to record measurements.
- 1 From the Wedding Overview, click on a member's name to open their Customer Profile.
- 2 Click the Measurements tab and enter their measurements.
- 3 Use Store Mode on a tablet to let staff enter measurements directly on the floor without full app access.
Step 3: Create an Order
Once you know what the customer needs, create the appropriate order type.
Tailoring
For alterations and in-house work. Add garments and alteration instructions, then track through your shop's workflow.
Rental
For garments rented from your inventory. Set a due date and track pickup and return.
Special Order
For items ordered from vendors. Move through stages from "Needs to be Ordered" to "Ready for Pickup."
- 1 From the left sidebar, click Orders, then click the appropriate Add Order button.
- 2 Search for the customer by name or phone, or create a new one on the spot.
- 3 Set the Needed By date and click Create Order.
- 4 Add garments and fill in the order details on the Order Overview page.
Step 4: Update Statuses as Work Progresses
As garments move through your shop, update statuses directly from the Order view. Wedding member statuses update automatically as you progress through the workflow. The wedding overview gives you a bird's-eye view of who is complete and who still needs attention.
Tip: Set up your settings first
Before your first wedding, configure your store's name, timezone, and SMS settings under Settings → Store Settings. This ensures notifications and date calculations work correctly.
Tip: Use Store Mode for fittings
Register a tablet with a PIN so staff can take measurements on the floor without using full admin credentials. See Store Settings to set up devices.
